The two Vergnano brothers decided that the best way they wanted to mark the company’s 120th anniversary was by owning the best blend available commercially on the market.
It is an Arabica coffee, though the reason many people think that there must be Robusta in it – the superb crema, and overall structure of the espresso – is in fact due to the Nicaraguan Maragogype, which is actually more expensive to cultivate than the famous Jamaican Blu Mountain.
